  • More babies....

Found out Saturday my daughter is expecting her second child and is due in March.  Her son will be 2 in Nov.  It's good spacing for the ages.  She has been having some health issues and they had told her concieving again might be a problem but thankfully things have worked out for her.
Our son's girlfriend is due for her csection on July 17.  From the ultrasound they say it's a girl and her name will be Cherish Nicole if they do not change thier minds... So, the next crib picture should have three babies in it! :)

  • Mind over....

Since Aiden was born five weeks ago.. (I know time flies!) I just can not get back into the swing of things.  He stays up late so I am up with him but then sleeps for about six hours before waking to feed.  Instead of getting up at that time I feed him and we both go back to sleep until 11 or 12...  then I feel bad b/c housework didn't get done.  I had a pretty good routine going before he arrived and I just can not seem to get back into it.  I know, babies change everything but it doesn't keep me from feeling yucky.

I ALWAYS got up with hubby in the a.m. and made his lunch.  Since about a week before Aiden was born he has been making his lunch the night before or throwing it together in the a.m. and I have been laying blissfully asleep in the a.m. when he leaves for work.  I feel horrid about this.  I know in time I will get back into routine but I want to feel up to it NOW.  I want my energy back...

I knew when I had the problem with blood loss and being already anemic to begin with it would take me awhile to get back to not feeling tired but I guess I am just to the point where I am so over it.  I want to get back to feeling up to going to meetings on a regular basis, I want to not feel totally drained ALL the time.  I want some motivation back.  Hubby said just get up and do things and you'll feel better... well if I felt like getting up and doing things I wouldn't be so blah huh?  I have cooked dinner about three nights this past week which was interesting.  Two of those nights I cooked with Aiden in a baby carrier hanging on the front of me.  By the time I was done I felt like I had ran a marathon!

Well, he is still snoozing so I am going to try to get to a couple things now... shoot... too late... he's awake again... I shall try his new baby swing we picked up.  I am hoping that will turn into a life saver.  One good thing about having a baby these days... his swing is electric!

About Me

  • Married - two kids at home Oldest step daughter (#5) is married with three kids and one on the way. My oldest daughter has moved out, she has a 1 year old son. My step son Ryan has graduated from high school and is out in the big ole world. His girlfriend and him are expecting their first child. We went from five home to two home and boy is it quiet. My son was recently accepted to dual enrollment in college. Since I will be driving him daily I have decided to go to college too. One month after starting college I found out I was expecting a baby!! This came as quite a shock as we were told about 6 years ago we were unable to have more children. I will be taking spring semester off. I am one of Jehovah's Witnesses. I was baptized Oct 28, 2006 in Daytona, FL On April 17, 2008 I started Weight Watchers. I lost 30 pounds. This, according to doc, is what triggered me to ovulate again... hence... our son is due in May! Since becoming pregnant I have lost another 8 p

@dryvona -  I felt well enough today to go do the major grocery shopping that has been getting thrown to the side the last couple weeks.  I sure am beat now though.  Thanks for checking on me... it is appreciated.
